Systems

Any spacecraft with inoperative systems can be described as 'space junk'.
This page, therefore, is of utmost importance to anyone considering spacecraft design. Systems must be integral to each step of your design.

The way I see it, is that what you are trying to achieve requires some form of propulsion. Propulsion is of no use if your navigation is not functioning.
To keep you, your instruments and your equipment working, you must provide the appropriate environment.
To maintain any environment, you will require a selection of power sources.
In order for power, and all other functionality to occur, telemetry must be enabled.
Therefore, I forsee a heirachy where telemetry is at the core.
